What use is a website if you can't keep your customers updated on a regular basis? A content management system is a package which allows you to go in and edit the content on your website without having to look at any of the code - and whilst there are many packages freely available offering a 'one size fits all' solution - we take a slightly different approach...
As with all of our systems we believe that the only way to have a solution which truly fits your need, is to build it with your specific requirements in mind. All of our Content Management Systems have a custom built database to drive your website; this means that the code generated is very lean indeed. This is very important not only to communicate the right information to your customers, but also for Search Engine Optomisation (whereby all search engines like to see regularly updated content).
So what does this mean for your website?
In short in means we would suggest that every 'block' of copy in the website be made editable, we would suggest additions such as news, testimonials, infosheets and maybe even a vacancies page if you are looking to recruit via your website.
Of course the 'flipside' of this is that you may find it difficult to write sufficient copy to keep your website updated, or may just feel that you would like this to be taken care of for you.
